Lone Tree Brewing Company, craft brewery with tasting room. Nice variety of beers, lively environment with plenty of indoor-outdoor seating. It is dogfriendly on the patio and inside.
They have no food but food trucks stop here and have great choices.

Their BBQ is fantastic, but the smoked wings are my #1, tied with their Chili (seasonal). We get the wings extra crispy, sauces on the side. And cornbread with honey butter for the Chili. PHENOMENAL! (Pictured is The Oklahoman burger with pulled pork. )

Lovelady Brewing Company

No eats, just great brews, we especially love their Anniversary brew, but it's only available during their April Anniversary month, until they run out. But we also love their Hopatomic and State of Change.
This is at their S. Water St. location in Henderson. Plenty of great eateries within walking distance if you're hungry. We love to order Mexican cuisine next door at Juan's Flaming Fajitas and they even deliver to the brewery.

Pictured right, CIOPPINO signature dish, a bountiful seafood extravaganza of Dungeness crab legs, clams, mussels, snapper, shrimp and calamari stewed in a savory tomato broth. We ate it all and it was mouthwatering good

Opened in 1916, this corner spot serves its signature Irish coffee alongside American staples. Fantastic Irish Coffee of course, considering this is where the first Irish Coffee was made in 1952. We've not had a chance to sample their food menu but surrounding table's food looked yum.

Smoked wings, juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and the Paella, both were delicious. The cheesecake for dessert was moist and fluffy. Plenty of outside seating in a quaint courtyard. Large umbrellas provide plenty of shade on a sunny day. It's an order then seat yourself restaurant, place your order number on the table and food is brought to the table. Wait staff was friendly and service was fast and accurate.

The Brussel Sprouts were just a bit too crispy but the beers made up for that. The beer menu is extensive, with a large fantastic variety, and has something for everyone. If you get the chance, try the Stickee. It's Derek's all time favorite. Dine/Drink in. 6/11/2023.

Derek had the seafood quesadillas and they were equally deliciously fresh. And a 10/10 on our rating chart.

(50/50 beef/bacon blend, bacon cheddar cheese, thick-cut bacon, sunny-side up egg, bacon island dressing on a brioche bun. Served with your choice of Slater’s or Sweet Potato Fries + Pumpkin Sauce, or Slater’s Salad + Raspberry Vinaigrette)

Our favorite dressert: Bacon Oreo Shake, sounds odd? I dare you to try it, you'll eat the whole thing.

This rustic log cabin/lumberjack style restaurant serves up more than just a great brew, they've packed in wicked awesome Orange Blossom and Prickly Pear Vodka we fell in love with.
Hawaiian Pizza was super delicious for Derek, I had the wedge salad and it was crisp, fresh and both food choices and the beer and vodka deserve 2 thumbs up.

Est. 2013 Beer Zombies Brewing Co., based out of Las Vegas, dabbles in the dark arts of brewing. Brewing up everything from Hazy IPAs, Decadent stouts, fruited sours and core clean beers.

There's plenty of seating outside and inside with heaters if needed while the garage doors are open. Their beers are phenomenal.

(As long as we can remember they had a Mexican quisine food truck out front but shut down 3/2023. What a shame because their food was
delicious.)

It was hard to chose, although the menu is not huge, all the food coming to tables around us looked fabulous. We both opted for the Bell Tower Burger, with cheddar, bacon, minus fried onion strings, lettuce, tomato, Michigan Cherry Bourbon BBQ sauce & Whitefish soup for the side instead of fries. A delightful juicy burger with the right amount of zing from the BBQ sauce. Very delicious. We also sampled the Cranker's Aphrodisiac, Ore Dock Imperial Coffee Stout, Short's K-Dog and the always reliable New Holland Dagon's Milk. NICE BREWS! Although outside seating was an hour wait, we went to the bar and were seated in just 5 minutes, would definitely recommend this establishment.

Huge menu, pizza, prime rib, wraps, fish, burgers, BBQ pulled pork, soup, wings, you name it they'll cook it.
Derek enjoyed the fall off the bone ribs with fries, I had the Shrimp Burrito Bowl (citrus infused grilled shrimp bowl of cinatro-lime rice, fire roasted corn and black beans salsa, shredded lettuce. diced tomatoes, gree onions, sour cream, limes and a drizzle of chipotle sauce. DELICIOUS!
We ate here last year on our great Michigan tour and had burgers and they were equally juicy!

Not just Hot Dogs but great burgers and other tasty things too. Post race treat after Melissa ran her first solo Half Marathon today and she was hungry and tired so we hung out and enjoyed the comfy seats and TVs to sit and refuel and relax.
Derek had extra crispy wings and the chili cheese fries, Melissa and Chelsey shared the Jalapeño cheese sticks, Melissa had the grilled chicken, Chelsey the Caprese salad, Derek had the Hebrew Dog and I had the cheeseburger with bacon.
We used to go to Double Dog in Knoxville when we lived there, the ‘your dog is welcome’ on the patio is so great although today we didn’t have Enzo with us and dined inside in this relaxed atmosphere. This Nashville location is in a good spot, a parking garage behind their building has 1 ½ hours free parking for several of the surrounding businesses including Double Dog.

While waiting for Derek’s meds after he had dental work across town, I figured I’d get a burger across the street from the pharmacy. As always, I relied on Google reviews, 4.6 is pretty good, so I order the Smoked Gouda burger, add bacon, no bun, $10.
It took a while but eventually came out as ordered. The taste was not really flavorful, just plain and mediocre, wouldn’t go back to eat there again.
Oh wait, as I’m checking Goggle maps for the address, it shows this place to be permanently closed. There are other locations in the Nashville area but looks like the menu is identical so don’t feel the need to go back and try something else.

BJ's is one of our favorites because the quality of food is consitant, whether we're in Nashville or Vegas, or somewhere in between, the food comes out as expected and on the rare occasion that it doesn't, they'll make it right for you.
Our go to's are the Bistro Burger for me and the Bacon Jam Ribeye for Derek. The Ahi Poke is tender and juicy, the loaded Chili is a flavor explosion and the Tomato Mozarella side salad is one of my faves!
In the picture we chose a Hawaiian Pizza for pre race carb loading. It was DEVINE!
Not often do we come across a BJ's that has the Bourbon Barrel Stout, mostly out West that we can find it on tap, but the Tatonka is also a wicked stout on draft, Jeremiah Red is also a great brew.
And if we're feeling really naughty, we'll finish the meal with a oeygooey warm pizookie!

Derek and his friend sampled and very much so enjoyed the Nachos, I had the soup of the day, chowder.
The loaded nachos were delicious and the brews a plenty, 70 beers on tap. We did a flight mixture of stouts and IPAs, but ultimately got a bottle of Limited Release 2021 Black Belle Imperial Stout, which has quickly become one of our top 5 stouts.
Great place to hang out with friends on a Friday night for a pint or two and delicious pub food.

This place is just out of this world! My personal favorite is the Pan Seared Trout. Everything is WONDERFUL!

All I can say is, just go! Sit down, enjoy the food, enjoy the drinks, enjoy the view!
