How many times have we all asked that question?
Here is my answer:
At the root, it is to live a happy, peaceful, fullfiled life.
But what is it to live a happy life?
At first, this may sound like a complicated question, but I really do not believe that is the case.
Scripture states "God will give you the desires of your heart"
Before you go too far with that, it does NOT mean that you want the latest video console, go home, and by a miracle, it is sitting on your table!
What it does mean though is when you are by yourself, driving home from work, out swinging in a hammock by a stream, sitting outside after work, any situation where you truly have some time to yourself and your mind is allowed to really think about things, "What are the things you are really thinking about that you desire in your life?"
What it does mean is that those desires that you have in your heart have been implanted there!
The Meaing of Life is to accomplish those things that have been implanted in your heart.
If you accomplish the things that you are dreaming about, you will have a fullfilled life.
So, what is in your heart?
So here is what I want you to do, and we will give this the term "The LIST"
I want you to take a pen/pencil and a piece of paper (better yet, make an electronic copy), find a place you can be by yourself, sit down and write out 15-20 things that you want out of your life (those things in your heart). This is the starting point for changing the rest of your life. You will keep and update this list for the rest or your life!
